Have ‘inherited’ (long story) a TV set up with True apparatus. I want to take out the True TV stuff and put in an Android box, but I need to leave True internet in place. Is it as simple as disconnecting the arial from the True box and fining a connection that allows me to plus it direct into TV arial slot ?

If you have a Smart TV then forget about hard wiring any true gadgets to your TV/Wall.

Use your Smart TV browser to watch TV instead. All you need is a decent internet connection and you will be good to go. There are good IPTV providers out there that charge appropriately and offer better than average services.

Android box will most likely have a HDMI output and maybe Composite  video and audio  phono jack outputs..does the TV have HDMI or Composite inputs on the back panel ?

In that case, if you have a spare 14,990 THB then get yourself one of these.

I purchased one last week and am over the moon with it.

That is a very good price... but the discount expires tonight.

There is a huge selection - Believe True is free for local stations but if you need to remove just unplug it and the coax to it as Android will be using computer to output to TV using HDMI input (hopefully) or video/audio input rather than the TV coax connector.

Chromecast into HDMI port. Watch from your phone.

Turn back time - our first TV was a converted radar CRT 12 1/2" Raytheon in 1948 - would not want to watch TV on something even smaller than that.

A Chromecast allows you to cast your phone to a TV, 12 1/2 or 65 inch if you want.

You did say watch from your phone however.  Guess you mean your phone position in the room.  ????

For me it is an adventure on the dark side just to answer an Android phone call.  Don't want to turn back time but have never caught up to it either.

A Chromecast connects to your home wifi network, as does your Android phone. Then, whatever you connect to on your phone you can 'cast' to the TV to which the Chromecast is plugged, be it YouTube, Mobdro, TV via VPN, or your emails. Works great.
