Tm.30 - Tenant presented to immigration - Not appartment owner

Recommended Posts

When leaving Thailand and returning is it possible for the new Tm.30 submission to be presented by the Tenant to immigration (BKK) - Rather than by appartment owner - if Tm.30 has been filled out and signed by appartment owner?

Or is a power of attorney also required?

Ah - So I can simply get the Tm.30 filled out and signed by owner and post this myself (so I know its gone) and then I have no queue number or wating at CW to get the process completed - is this correct?

You could mail it yourself by registered mail or EMS.

But for the self addressed return envelope for the receipt it would probably be best to have the owners name on it.

Anyone should be able to hand in the completed form.

Registered mail or EMS would provide tracking so you can be sure it was received, but more expensive than standard mail.

If its handing in - Does that mean you can actually turn up and just hand pass the letter into the post room / letters in box - And no queuing is needed ?

You wouldn't get a receipt this way, would you?

Why not if there's a SAE with it.

But I'm guessing in Jomtien,  they won't accept by mail.  I'll check and hopefully post back, but I'm a few weeks away from arriving newly in Thailand.

I will do by post every time if allowable at jomtien. Can't see it happening though.  Too easy.
