I think you are talking about the site of the old Central Wongamat Resort. I thought the plan was for the Central Pattana group simply to knock it down and build a new, better resort, but they appear to be taking their time, so maybe something else is on the cards. The same group are currently building a large new shopping mall and hotel between Beach Road and Second Road at the side of soi 9, so I doubt very much they would build another one in Wongamat.
