If u can see what i wrote, u will understand that i want to know if any bus goes from Chiang RAI (with R, not with M) to Nan. 12go.asia doesn't have this route in the schedule, but a few years ago it was a bus. LOL

Are you a Newbie to Google as well !   LOL

Chiang Rai, not Chiang Mai.

I googled a bit longer and found quite sure that both routes (Chiang Rai to Nan, Chiang Rai to Lampang) are served by the "Greenbus" company from CR bus terminal 1.

Hopefully someone can confirm.

Line nr. to Nan is 611.

CR to Nan is supposed to leave at 9:30 AM.

Travel time a whopping 5 hours (seemingly due to the mountainous route?).

Thank you both! I will check Green Bus!

Don't hurry and wait for more response from a local.

CR seems to have to have two bus terminals (I guess and old and a new one). Still a chance that it goes from the other one.

I just got back from a trip to Nan but I drove so can't be of much help with bus routes.  I can pretty much guarantee there are buses though because that is how a large portion of the local population gets around.  It is a long drive.  It is slightly closer than Chiang Mai from our house but takes longer depending on which road you take.  I made a loop out of our trip to take in both main roads.  The 1148 is beautiful but slow.  If you are interested I have another topic running about the trip I just took to Nan.
