Looking for an A/C installer

Anyone know a good A/C installer in Pattaya? My place is on the south side of Soi Buakao

never  found  one  dealt  with  many, gave up installed my own just let them connect  the pipes only, ie mounted it internally  drilled the holes myself and mounted the brackets externally to avoid them causing MORE damage than necessary, also did the wiring myself so I know its  earthed, their only job  connect pipework.

I don't mind the chap who installs for big C centre Rd.  He makes a vacuum in pipes and does a decent job I think. Ask the staff there for his noomba

Wife works in real estate shes  dealt  with many of these  guys, often sloppy often dirty and often dont really know the correct way to do it, had one installed in a customers  room recently, broken within a  few  months,no cold air, lazy  bugger had connected to some old copper  pipes left from old aircon and these were all perforated  so the refrigerant leaked a away, he  filled it up twice before  the problem was  spotted.He  also didnt wholly wrap the copper  fully  in insulation so the bit hed  missed under the ceiling dripped condensate on the ceiling leaving a damp patch.

Thers also no guarantee if they do it ok once that the next time they wont  be crap.

The only time I had one careful guy who knew what he was doing was at my house in Pranburi, told him I was  very  happy  with his work, he asked for  500 baht, I  paid him double this was just for connecting the pipework as mentioned previously, called him again later and he never replied.................odd as  if any customer paid me double in the UK Id  be back in a  flash.

If you want Daikin, ARC did a good job on our house. Not the cheapest but very professional, which is a rarity here. Not sure if they do other brands.

Hi, this guy has installed over 50 AC's for me and he does great reasonably priced work. He speaks good English and has a large very experienced crew. A month ago I installed a new Dankin inverter AC system while removing the one that I had for around 15 years old. He sent out 5 guys along with himself and was and cleaned up and finished with everything in less than 4 hours, just like he promised, like each and every time. His number is 081-344-9052.

I really can't tell you how much the install cost, since it was part of a package deal that included the price of the AC. Give him a call and he will come over and give you an estimate. More than likely you will be much better off buying the AC from him as well as him install it. He has access to every AC sold in Thailand.

Going by the pricing I've seen from big C installers I'm thinking 1000 baht would be a cheap install price, but as a falang asking you'd more likely look at around 2000 baht for the going price. That's my feeling only. Haven't checked for sure lately. Prices going up all around

Does this guy do AC cleaning as well do you know?
