I'm with you guys! Back in 97 or so, wine was so cheap. Lots of good Aussie wines. Then the gov slapped the deluxe goods import tax on them and there went the party. I just bought cheap plonk thereafter, about Bt400 for 1.5l of an Italian make. The reds don't seem to do well in transport. Very acidic. The Thai wines are ghastly sweet.
