"Big Joke" and the Visa-Shops.

Featured Replies

Correct me if I'm wrong. But it seems to me that Big Joke is focusing on Visa-Shops that cater to those poor devils from Myanmar/Cambodia that work mainly on Thai Construction sites or in agriculture.

So far, leaving the zillions of Visa-Mills catering to Farangs alone. What could be the reason?

Surely, Photo-Sessions having busted a few Farang Visa-Shops would give him far more PR-milage.
Hmmmm.....? Or is it just a part of the many "inner-workings" of Thailand that I still don't quite understand after all those years?

- In case BJ prefers to "overlook" the Farang Visa-Mills in the future, the ever changing Visa-Legislation will be reduced to strictly academic discussions and "Ubon-Joe" will be out of work soon. (Heaven forbid).

Correct. ????

Part of the Art of War?  Divert the attention from the Farang visa mill but putting attention on another problem which they don't really seriously plan to do anything basically smoke and mirrors?

The ones they have busted were said to be using fake stamps.  So they were not giving immigration their cut of the money.

The reason is simple. Think about it. What did he do before? He was a high ranking cop. Which is one of the most profitable franchises in the nation. And so?

I think he is actually taking some heat from the farang clampdown and is attempting to divert attention.
