Short stay hotel on live side of BKK

I am arriving BKK at lunchtime, my GF gets in at 10pm

I would like to meet her so we can go through immigration together and go to the downtown hotel. Does a short stay hotel on the live side of BKK exist for 6 hours or so while I wait in comfort?

Don't you need to clear the transit security checkpoint to access it?  If so, how will the OP, who is terminating his travel in Bangkok, get through the checkpoint with no onward boarding pass?
