Ps i had a restless night during the week and had half a bottle of JWBlack....not the airport 1lt job, the Danny Murphy 700mm.....i was so suprised when i got up friday moring....A that i drank that much and B my throat wasnt burnt to death....sim sala bin...

Never been to jail,but quarantine is probably as close as you could get without the exercise yard time.No Leo's mate,It's amazing how hard it is to <deleted> when you don't get your daily refreshment????

Quite a round last week!
 

Great to see the Hawks losing the unlosable, Despite that i had picked Hawthorn I am always happy to see them lose another game

Clarko has really lost the playing group now. Difficult to believe in the plan when you are bottom 4. As always, Bookman called it first

 

Bulldogs also displayed some A-Class choking. Another game done and dusted but they managed to lose it anyway. Finals chances now gone?  ... Difficult to say for sure with so many teams competing to lose week by week.

 

Sydney's effort against Port was pretty decent. Sam Reid was useless as always but there was enough to like around the ground for some hope into the next 2 years. 
SPeaking of which ... Our future Boy Joey Danier is back in form and the smile on his face as he contemplates his move to SYdney was there for all to see.

Expecting him to kick 60 the first year for the Swans... His presence up forward should also ignite McCartin who will kicka bag of 30

 

And lastly, North competing hard to be worse on field than Adelaide, and that is saying something. Another off season looming for North where they offer a host of players BIG money and no one wants to come... sad ☹️

Another lovely day in CorvidVictoria........Danny Andrews plays the drama queen right down to the wire, king of doom and gloom destined for afternoon TV fame when he retires from politics....sees another screen idol that many men here would recognize....Ron has another 20 charges laid against him, been in jail a while now, Ron Jeremy former king of porn and record holder of being in the most adult movies all 2200 of them and at 67 is a dirty old man....ugly and obese you would wonder why any woman would go near him, still a stallion so it would seem.....and i can attest that the drive does not go away with age so if your not "getting it up much" anymore might be to do with your partner...trading up keeps you virile....

I watched the Big Lebowski last night....so seeing Ron in the news this morning was a continuation of said movie....if you dont know this classic Coen Bros movie your missing out....think its Jeff Bridges as there's a few of them but its the Bridges i like...plays a down and out pot smoking 40s something unemployed bum in LA of course where else? Pretty much layed out and cool due to the pretty much continuing pot smoking that was prevalent in 70s moves but this is 90s, nicked name Dude with 2 other buddies who besides doing weed just go bowling, it all starts with a case of mistaken identity with one of the attackers weeing on his carpet rug, egged on by one of his ex viet traumatised war veteran buddies he contacts the "rich" Lebowski to seek compensation, as with all Coen Bros movies which can be sometimes compared to Woddy Allen movies...another brilliant director this goes off and keeps turning and you quite never know where it ends up....I down loaded this movie about 12 ys ago but of course never got to see it, had it on my list in Netflix for quite some time, the same with District 9....another i downloaded forever ago and finally got to watch it on my last list to Thailand....if you like it Black like i do.,..black the better, go watch them.....cant believe it took me so long to see them....and if you like your humor off beat like  i do "Delicatessen"  getting in the old category now french movie is a must........ bit of an art house sifi for want of a better description loved the bits were one nutter is devising ways to kill herself and they always fail, so there guys given you 3 top movies to watch while stranded in Thailand....

 

Rhyce Shaw lost for words......how low does it go? So what happened? Getting beat up by the Suns looks damming though there a lot better this year....Id say its a case of lonely away from home, Eagles suffered up north, struggled to concentrate on the holiday coast, well if you know North Melbourne suburb high density heavy traffic full of Indians at there second level modern railway station getting chocked on car fumes at the Arden street ground....which use to be the worst VFL ground you could imagine.....they could squeeze the teens in the thousands into that ground and even towards the end of an era they still had a raised wooden coaches box wasnt sound padded either...thanks Ron....we could hear everything.....well if you wanted value for money you parked yourself near the coaches box at Arden street on game day, Barassi gave it to you......and i did....a few times there a weatherboard would fly off such was his temper.....You know when old Ron transferred to the Dee's as coach i went to a practice game at no time during breaks did any Demon supporter who milled around players go near old Ron....as a committed people watcher this just simply fascinated me.....so scared we were of he.....he had a smile on his face.....looked calm.....only a practice game you know.....who could forget that third quarter incident at the G once between he and Shane Zantuck who by the way had left North maybe to get  away from Ron and ended up having him as his coach again at the Dee's...."GET F****D RON" was very plain to see, on national telly too.....i was at that game and wasnt to far from Shane either plus seen it on the telly later....just a cold stare from Ron did Shane get....

 

Lonely away from home, and the cheeky Eagles who are worried......offered North 700,000$ for there game to be played in Perth....chuckle chuckle......cheeky i say......AFL stepped in....no can do......North would have taken the money Fj....miserable ........ cant do that......trying to buy a place in the top 3....to get the double chance cause there worried about playing in Queensland WILL.....The Dee's kinda thriving up  North, with a bit of luck they wont come back to Melbourne....

 

My thoughts on the Corvid situation, protesters in Berlin last week photographed 2 spunky German women early 30s id say, marching and holding signs in german protesting the wearing of face masks....seen similar rubbish from the Americans......i say....arrest them...throw them in jail.....no trial...and inject them with the virus......Mr Bald a youtuber is still struggling after 2 months recovery from the virus.....those two women need a good dose of it just like the American protestors....<deleted> selfish is what i say....the world and sun does not revolve around them.......if i was a leader of a country....Hitlers way of doing somethings could be introduced quick and lovely.....

I agree Alex. Rather than playing more games at Optus and giving clubs and the AFL more money due to bigger crowds, it's

easier to sack a few more people.

 

It's all about integrity you know.

 

Like interstate sides having to play Richmond and Hawthorn on their home ground for a GF.

Your just a minefield of information arnt you Old WILL.....

 

Ummmmmm.....well in theory they have a point, they could have expanded the interchange bench which would have been my preference and in light of they the AFL once again chopping into there VFL/Reserves comp it makes sense to just do away with a second comp and run a bigger bench, right now clubs are quite happy running scratch matches to keep there non regulars and returning wounded fit....

 

Mark my words.....good chance in the future they WILL spread games out over the week and mind you "they" said monday night footy didnt work.....see it as a given, and im not so sure they wont tamper with the length of a game either.....

Mr. Purple is made from Sheffield steel, so "getting it up' and 'keeping it up" is not my problem.    The availability of willing and able ladies in my life has always gone through a feast or famine cycle, and at present time I am enduring a drought of biblical proportions.

 

Next time I get lucky, I must remember to bring a can of Mortein along, coz all these spiders and centipedes will get pushed out of the pipe first.

I didn't think Hawthorn could fall any lower this season but last night they showed that there is no limit to the player top up fiasco.

Half a dozen players who signed with the Hawks thinking they were going to be vying for a premiership this season..

Surprisingly the AFL website had the announcement ....nowhere!

 

You would reckon they would be promoting this more so than the SPECIAl rounds such as Diversity/indigenous/Women rounds... but a glance last night and this morning at the afl website you wouldn't know anything about it.

 

Brisbane has a chance here if they can kick some goals.

Richmond will be liking it
West Coast will have to come up with some plans for staying away from home to have a chance

Taking WC out of the equation, as I don't think we'll get there, Blind Freddy could see that the GF should be played at Optus in front of 60 000 fans.

 

There was a huge 1500 at the WC game last night.

 

Buckley and Goodwin when asked last night on 360 said it pretty much should be played at the best stadium.

As masterful Books has instructed us today Hawks go down.......and the GF goes north....Free Agency has bitten the once powerful Hawks on the bum and shown the rest of the AFL how not to do it, Dees been "topping up" in there too.......boys go back to the draft.....well they did this year and landed two hot to trots's plus two wingers, who have got better as the season got longer, because both are not use to playing in the Melbourne bubble, loving the northern beaches the beautiful people coffee shops that fit tanned sportsman body being ooogoogled by Queensland chicks here chic chic...come to daddy....they love it up there but the Eagles do not...even they fell across the line last night but its just a dream....Bombers go from down to worse and by the time they play us they WILL be back on there game no doubt and make us earn a sport in the 8....

 

As Chooks so kindly pointed out not to many up in the humid state could name was it 4 or 6 AFL teams, most up there have been in a coma/drama over the Brisbane Broncos and there ex coach and all the gutter press since he took 1.5 million to terminate his 5 year deal after less than 2 in the job....so traumatised have Queenslanders been over the Broncos im surprised they even had time to worry about the AFL GF, i been reading up on the Broncos now for 2 ys when originally they the Broncos were trying to shaft there long time coach in Wayne Bennet who by the way brought them fame and riches in two incarnations at the club, held in high reverence as one Norm Smith at Deeland they killed the goose that laid the not one but many golden eggs, swapping jobs with Anthony Seinbold at the Rabbitos which is Sth Sydney Books other team, but Wayne would not go as he had a year to run on his contract so you know the deal....a very experienced campaigner held out untill they paid him out then took over the Rabbits...and Anthony got the Broncos gig....well as it turned out and  im not into Rugby but im into politics and all the dirty underhanded tricks they try and pull....a great game indeed to be watching, Anthony was a rookie coach at the Rabbitos and got crowned the new wonder kid in his first year as a head coach podggie like the Suns coach, got the Broncos into the finals first year then copped a pasting in the final and that was that....putting it behind him this season the Broncos went on to be a convincing failure getting walloped by 50 plus points a number of times, the blades came out in force early on so its been one drama to the next....with Anthony told point blank he needed to win x amount in the remains games other wise his appointment was up for review end of season....well having lost the troops early that was that, then a social media smear campaign engulfed Anthony which was the last straw that broke the camels back....no one up in Brisbane liked him anymore....a foreigner in his own country was Anthony, they were not knifes that came for Anthony, they were them big arab swords....ones that Mohammad made famous bringing Islam to the Middle east....

 

Well with a heavy heart we here in CorvidVictoria relinquish the GF to a Rugby heartland broken by the spirt of a virus giving up our treasures to heathens up north, a case could be mounted for sending the GF east and it would be a goodie....but....,there are always a but....and the but in this case is.....give it to Perth well........we would never hear the end of it would we here in broken down Vic, better educated in WA they would keep mounting cases to you know....be come democratic and spread the love around, and they could mount a good case once they get there first GF, SA? you say...ho dear i been there a few times....do they have an airport? there claim to fame is the plonk they make in the valley, ive always driven there (twice) see no reason ever to return, i took a drive to Port Adelaide once and along the way it was worse than Broadie, rows and rows of concrete houses the state governments were famous for building in the 50's....the city is a square, kinda pretty, i never will forget the Thai restaurant in the city centre that was not....run by chinks the TGF1 and i left after seeing what other dinners were getting, the point? the point is they know not what they get, in other words wouldnt know a bull for a horse, maybe in 100 years they WILL catch up......

 

In real football news.....Barcelona are expecting a nice handsum cheque from Manchester City for there Lionel.......another drama being played out, Messi the messiah casues riots and mayhem when he spat the dummy over the failure of Braca not winning anything this year, after 13 ys and lots of trophies and accolades running second to Real and then Bayern isnt comfortable of course he dont like the chap running the club since A he let Nemar go then failed to buy him back from PSG start of last season then really put the boots in when best mate and on few million himself the biter Surez, not sure how to spell his name was told by the chief find a new home.....Well truth is there all hitting grandfather status so what they got? one or two seasons left in them....this is what happens when someone gets to big for there britches, Lionel thinks he has a get out of jail card for free....which had a set date to call up which didnt happen, claiming now that the termonalgy was really "end of season" which corona virus stalled, so you know what to do what to do? i dare say Man City WILL need to cough up as the season starts within 2 weeks and they WILL need to get Lionel across super pronto or he WILL be sitting out for half the season at least, @33 and the best player in the world who could sit out the year and go for free end of it  would be unacceptable mucho mula buy out clasue of 1. something billion euros hey say no more.....Meanwhile little kids in there Baraca shirts with number 10 on the back seen crying sitting in gutters around the stadium.....sad times indeed...they loose Lionel we loose the GF.....

Well not looking to upset anyone as i dont have a view on where the GF should be played since its not in Vic anymore....the reason behind the Gabba was...A Queensland was accommodating more so than other states in hubs etc and B was the numbers/crowed that will let in, WA and SA were stuck on 30,000 and 31,000 and Gabba 30,000....so with all things being equal it was down to the payola under the table...though since all of the 30,000 WILL be corporate there gonna wanna be in the same time zone...Sydney and Melbourne ....yes business speaks and there paying .....wasnt mentioned bet its a big factor..... Also mentioned where how inflexible WA were so yes it might be an excuse and look i can bang on for ever too...real footy die hearts dont get to go to a GF because 80,000 seats go to corporate, hangers on, i know a friend deal and the beautiful people, 20,000 gets spread between members of said clubs...and the clubs say they give as first in best dressed but thats not true....first crack at GF tickets go to members further up the food chain so you know the ordinary seasons ticket holder all 50,000 of them get to hustle for 500 tickets....

 

ALL WRONG but thats life....Look watching on the telly is fine...i get a great view and dont have to put up with the half time entertainment thats on they think we need......sim salsa bin laden....

You have great power in your hands......its called the sound button on the remote control.......a very useful tool indeed....i used it liberally and been known to watch games in almost silence....can hear choo scratching on the veranda sometimes....

 

Bruce.....well hes a Sth Aussie say no more.....everyone thought he was a great commentator when he first rocked up, hes annoyed me for for years....but not as much as Sandy Roberts, the day he gave it away meant i could listen to games....

 

And if you think AFL commentators mostly stink you wanna watch some Aleague on Kayo....the duo they used of the 3 OMG is all i can say...talk about a limited vertical view.....

And you reminded me.....NFL well there are a couple of commentators who to my ears sound like nails scratching on corrugated iron....both former quarterbacks....Troy Aikmen something like that...OMG and the other guy.....forget his name now both are god dam horrible.....

 

English soccer has mostly had good commentators they dont try and call every kick....i dont mind listening there...
