Yeah, I saw that before, but I was wondering if anyone had been there, any thoughts etc?

 

How is the actual crossing, cost, speed etc?

Maybe this will be a visa run town.  Like Ranong and Kawthuang they can make it so the visa runner is not permitted to go beyond the town without a proper Myanmar visa.  Could make life easier for the Hua Hin dwellers (app. 100km).

 

 

It's a pity they have not opened this for visa runs yet. All the infrastructure is there. Compared to Phu Nam Ron which is still a dump it's hard to see why the Singkhon border has yet to given the green light.
