you know what is really funny - if 80% of congress had an investigation against them as thorough as Muller's these last 3 years they would all be facing jail for one thing or another - it is actually worse than the current circus going on in Westminster.

enough already lol

Then lock them all up

D Trump is the President of the USA like it or not

This circus has gone on for 3 years now - let him do the job he was elected to do, everyone is sick to the back teeth of the continuous effort to remove him - I am sure if they dig deep enough and long enough they will find some dirty laundry - my point being - dig deep enough and most them have

They will find something with ease-look at his “nonprofit foundation “ they made him close because of self dealing.  He’s a con and perpetual lier.  Anyone that breaks the law should be prosecuted-especially public servants!

Public servants should not be able to hide anything

It sound to me like the all-time definition of corruption if they DONT go through his tax records and his hotels books.

Otherwise any Tom, Dick and Vladimir could stay in his hotel and choose to pay

500k for a night

That’s exactly what’s happening ????

Your one liner in refute to his excellent post is likely because you can not counter any of the arguments presented. As a reality check it was not long ago that 44 mocked Trump by saying those jobs are "never coming back". And shock horror they came back just fine, and more. The negativity and witch hunts against President Trump are as unprecedented as they are idiotic. I think this latest fiasco by the democrats says we have no chance to win in 2020 so lets just keep trying to drag Trump down instead of twiddling our thumbs looking silly.

His post reminded me of the scene in Cabaret "Tomorrow belongs to me." It was white nationalist garbage as is the entire toxically divisive "trump" movement.  This isn't news. There is a soft civil war going on the U.S. "trump" thinks he is above the law and a significant white nationalist base supports him in that.

The misdeeds this man has committed, over the course of his lifetime, will come back to haunt him, sooner or later. More than likely after he leaves office, he will be facing some serious charges, and may even end up in the slammer, with some family members. Hundreds of millions of people feel that would be sweet justice, and the world would probably rejoice.

I remember over 30 years ago when I was working in commercial real estate in NYC, the stories I heard first hand, from people who has done deals with this mobster. The SDNY has been after him for some time now. One can only hope justice is eventually served.

I don't really know if he will ever face accountability for his many decades of corruption but he certainly deserves to.

And the bonus is that the American taxpayer is footing all the bills for The Donald defending his wrongdoing in court. No, other Presidents have not had to do this to such an extent because ....

And that's the problem.

The US Attorney General is charged to protect the Constitution - not the POTUS. White House Counsel McGahn understood the responsibility and ultimately had to resign than support Trump's directions to break the law. But Attorney General Barr has no such patriotic and constitutional duty to the nation nor its people.

This lawsuit and many more to follow should be called The People vs Trump.

Yes, and at this point shameless lackey Barr is flirting with being impeached himself.

Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace:

And that was before the redacted Mueller report on the Russia investigation was released to the public. Barr has violated the trust of the American people and he should be called accountable. Let the Republican Senate refuse conviction for impeachment, that there are government people above the law.

n the other case, Democratic attorneys general in Maryland and the District of Columbia argued that Trump's failure to disentangle himself from his hotels and other businesses made him vulnerable to inducements by foreign officials seeking to curry favour.

"curry favour"

this seems especially inducive to the government of India

There is no there, there ..... another witch hunt. They won’t find anything, but in the process will loose biggly in 2020.  Never seen anything like it before. I take a shower everyday still trying after 8 years to scrub off the stench of when I was a liberal.

Are congress going to start a lawsuit against Hilary for that 10 million "donation" the German government gave her Clinton Foundation just before she lost the election she was widely expected to win?

But, but, but...Hillary!

Did Hillary hide this donation?  Is she going to court to keep her tax returns secret?

I guess he should have had a foundation though which to accept the gifts. Sorta like the Clinton Foundation did.  Then there would be no problem.

Do you really don't know about the Trump Foundation and all it's legal troubles?  https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/18/nyregion/ny-ag-underwood-trump-foundation.html

Attacks on Barr began a long time ago.  In 1992 conservative columnist and Nixon speech-writer William Safire called him "Coverup-General Barr" because of his actions while Attorney General under the first President Bush to bury the Iraqgate and Iran-Contra scandals.  https://www.rawstory.com/2019/03/stunning-history-william-barrs-crusade-bury-evidence-protect-republican-presidents/
