I don't have a bathtub, so it'll have to be the toilet bowl? Or go to Hua Hin for the day...

99thb black large trash at Makro or BigC.

If you are a genius you can even buy 2 or 3 !

Did I miss something or is this one of the T.I.T. mai pen rai?

The notice clearly states 5th of June 8 am to Midnight,

Bottom it says save water 2-3 days won't flow immediately?

What is the reason just curious?

That's just in case an engineering genius realizes a few minutes before midnight that actually, they should have ordered a few more pipes and didn't.

On a slightly more serious note, it might be that the water flow is sub-optimal for a few days.

It will take a long time for the pressure to get back up. And there could be all sorts of unusual crap in the pipe for a couple of days until it has all flowed out.

<deleted>!!! ALWAYS when I'm going anywhere. Power in Phuket. Construction in Kalisin. And now Pipes in Pattaya! Haven't been in months, but going down tomorrow to meets a friend. Guess we'll put if off for a day. No water = no good. ????

To the OP...   how did you sign up to receive that notice?

Thanks

Is there a detailed map of the effected areas?

For example it says North Pattaya road.

Does that mean Terminal 21 mall will have no water?

If so how can they even be open like that"?

Yes I'm specifically interested because if they have water maybe it would be good to stay there all day.

The water outage has been cancelled now anyway.

Not sure you will ever get a detail map of effected areas but this is the Facebook page of the Pattaya Water Authority people: https://www.facebook.com/pwapattaya/

Might be worthwhile you guys in Pattaya following the page in case of future outages. They seem to post some stuff in English.

Thank you but how do you know that it has been cancelled ?

Drats! I just filled 100 bottles of water! :stoner:

Sounds to me like fake news.

Nowhere did I find any notice, any notification, any sheets on this event - which would severely affect the whole city!

Why would anyone go to the trouble of creating a fake news story about the water being turned off ?

It has been widely advertised, signs at major intersections and shopping centres. Announced on the radio etc.

The water being off doesnt always have a severe effect as malls and condo blocks etc have large (1-2 day) storage tanks on their roofs.
