It's not broadcast on free-to-air terrestrial TV but Thais love it. Mark Webber did a few runs up and down Ratchadamnoen in 2010 and there were an estimated 150,000 people there. I was one of them and it was so packed they had to delay the start by quite a while to control the crowds - the Thais absolutely loved it. -

Does it really matter? The subject is man threatened with a meat cleaver by another man. Their name, height, weight or ethnicity doesn’t really matter, unless there is a desire to escalate any offense committed, to a hate crime ( if Thailand even has that distinction in its laws) -
