The PEA will open 11 vehicle charging stations around the country along major tourism routes and will launch an app to allow electric car owners to learn details about the stations. The stations will be open from 6am to 1pm.

Just 7 hours?   Surely 6a.m. to 1 a.m. would be more realistic? TIT?

Yeah, when I saw that article the opening hours were, er, surprising. Since these things are fully automatic surely 24-7-365 should be their hours.

I suppose there's some legislation about charging during alcohol selling hours or some such crazy idea (hopefully this doesn't give the government any ideas).

I don't suppose there's any possibility of all the charge points having the same connectors and taking the same payment means. Nah, I thought not.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Considering how "courteous" some Thais are about parking in disabled areas, I'm sure that nobody will ever park their non EV in a bay clearly marked as for charging EVs ......Somchai with his year old but still red plated BMW would not park there just because it was in the shade or closer to the 7/11, or would he? (end sarcasm !)
