I am new to Android and am trying to figure out the toolbar.

 

My main question is how do I check if my battery is charging or not.

When I turn off the machine I can see if it's charging or not but when I turn it

on I can't tell.

I see the percentage sign so I know how much charge is in the battery and there is a battery ssymble

beside it but I can't tell if it's charging or not.

 

I would also like to make it bigger if that's possible And remove some of the other icons if that was possible.
