Any Yamaha Scooter dealers in Phuket?

Featured Replies

Trying to find one using Google, Google Earth, Facebook, etc is a real pain.

All I want is a spark plug which seems to be as rare as rocking horse poo.

Type NGK CR7E or number 4578.

Yup there is a big yamaha scooter and big bike dealer on the left side about 300m before the heroines monument.

You used Google?

Try putting the following words into Google:-  yamaha motorcycles phuket

Lots of results with maps, too.

You asked for a Yamaha dealer. I gave you an answer. What's your point?

I think most of the Yamaha dealers in Phuket have closed. The two that I bought bikes from (Patong and Phuket Town) are gone.

You may be able to find an equivalent replacement for your CR7E (you may just need to re-set the gap)  - check here: https://www.sparkplug-crossreference.com/convert/ngk_pn/cr7e

I know the one I used to go to in Chao Fah East just north of "Phuket Pool Tables" closed years ago. And one in Patak road, Kata-Karon near sois 2 & 3 was easy to find using Goggle Earth, but the other 2 in Phuket Town (in Phuket Road and in Thepkrasattri road) not so easy.

Anyway, I eventually found my spark plug wrench so managed to get it out. It was covered in carbon so I cleaned it with a wire brush, emery paper and petrol, put it back all nice and shiny and "Hey presto!"... zilch. Didn't even cough once.

So I gave up and got the guy from the motorbike shop at the end of the soi to take it away in his sam-lor. Life's too short...

Thepkrassatri road one is coming from town just before the heroine's monument.

One in Kata near Wat Kata. 36 Patak Road.

Yes, I found that one during my Googling, Google Earthing and Facebooking phase. But as I managed to get the spark plug out, clean it and put it back without any effect, I didn't bother going there for a new plug! The problem is likely to be fuel mixture related.

OK, I just found that one (Google Earth) - nice and big with decent parking for pickups, unlike the one in town, which is this one: Namsaeng Motorcycle 1/12 Thepkrasattri Road.

I'll make a note of that one (Ruampong Motor Co.) and may ride my Nouvo up there for a decent service once the local boys have got it going.
