Can anyone recommend a TV Package that will give me the ability to watch international channels.  In particular BBC, ITV UK for watching Rugby, cricket, news, documentaries etc.

Cheap, one off payment preferred.

IPTV-Club is quite good, all sport, tv channels etc, about 4100baht a year, is that cheap?

HD Prime is pretty good too, but has Thai tv as well, about 5,700baht a year.

Both offer free trials.

I think you might be recommending a service that has serious issues with it, at least as of last year...

I make monthly payments by bank transfer, have had no troubles so far, be interesting to hear if anyone else has had any problems.

Have removed it from my original post untill we learn a little more at least.

Android box with the rights apps and you can watch anything, just the cost of the box , most recent for a friend was 880 baht.

If your mainly interested in UK Channels I found the best option is to download the UK Expat VPN. Have used for about 3 months now and gives full access to BBCIplaver, ITV hub and channel 4 and 5 on demand services. Both BBCIplayer and ITV hub allow you to download so can watch shows off-line if required. Works great and even managed to watch Wimbledon men’s and Cricket World Cup finals. Picture was good with no buffering although assume you will need fast wi-fi connection. The libraries on these demand services are vast so your always have something to keep you entertained.

I have used HD Prime for a few years, with very few problems

I use TeaTime TV at 600 thb a month, 7 day playback too, so no worry if you leave a program for a couple of days. I only pay per month though never more than that in case they disappear. Over a year now with no problems.

Truevision the ONLY one that guarantees pretty much unbroken service.

EVERYTHING else is streaming and therefore relies on your internet speed. FACT.

Everyone I know who says that True is expensive, crap etc etc etc is also always moaning about buffering, freezing, programmes interrupted etc etc.

In this case 2 plus 2 does in fact equal 4! You get what you pay for! Go for the cheap option, it saves you money, yes, but it also gives you crap service a lot of the time! Anyone who says that its perfect is lying through their teeth. FACT!

What about if you have True Fiber, which provides you with your television signal through the fiber line?

I have True fiber, the platinum package, and 300mbs internet and to be fair and objective, they are CRAP. Unfortunately crap is the only available option. They really took a dump when they got rid of HBO and all the good movie packages in favor of off-brand movie channels with damn commercials and ads in the middle of the movie. Plus their "HD" is little more than a turd.

I also use Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime through VPN for real HD and optimal sound, but would disconnect from True in a heartbeat of a better provider came on the market.

True does suck, from their tiers to their shows, but they are the only available option.

Countless IPTV providers out there.

They dont provide real HD TV.

What they call "HD" is nothing more than an upscaled crummy torrent, similar to True.

If you have a 4k TV or Ultra HD TV and are watching torrents, "IPTV" or True, you might as well just of bought an ole plasma TV.

Which apps are you using these days?

I am interested in installing the newer apps for TV, movies, etc.

Yep

But True doesn't have cricket or Australian Rules Football. FACT.

Used to have it before we had a good internet service.

Was pretty much the only game in town until CTH came along.

I use Netflix for some stuff and an IPTV for sport.
