My understanding is that anyone can cast a vote for any other member, if that's not the case it can become discriminatory by not allowing votes to go to those excluded members.

then we have different understandings, and someone should tell us who is right.

I tried shortly after last years POTY to get some ideas about how to improve POTY thread interest. The responses ranged from “ leave it as it is “ to “ forget it, it’s not as good as it was in the goo

I'm sure that you could "go on and on...", you have so far, but why the sneering flame?

what is a sneering flame? You asked me to guess, so I did, and in my dictionary a party pooper is someone who dislikes any form of humour and I figured that might very well be you.

There are a few mods on here that are in a fortunate position to be able help a great deal of people, and they do. This makes them very popular. It would be no contest if they were allowed to run. Also not fair to mods who do more of the policing.

I know a guy who could win the category of posting the most 'confusion' emojis. To be fair I think he's just posting what best represents his likeness.

I think a very valid point.

Gives the competitors chance to show off their worthiness, increase actual posting by the nominees but more importantly will increase dirty dealings/brown envelopes/libellous comments and a general all round tackiness.

Sort of like a presidential/general election !!

And we all know we all like those for the dirty dealings alone!!

But without Cambridge Analytica...

Or Fakebook
