Midnight bars tonight

Featured Replies

I see some evidence that the actual holiday pushed to Monday...

Anyone know if tomorrow will be considered public holiday, eg. Bars closed.

And especially will late night bars (spicy/Vegas) close tonight at midnight?

What time does spicy usually close? It used to be 4 or 5 am?

It hasn’t been open that late since the last coup, I don’t know what time it closes now, the last time I was in it it was on the Chiang Moi rd probably around 2012 (Jesus time flys ????)

Hubby likes to do walks around the moat at dawn for exercise, but a couple nights ago he couldn't sleep around 2 am, so he decided to do his walk then.  He said the police were making their rounds clearing out all the bars, including Spicy.  He said he didn't see evidence of mass arrests, just running people out of the bars and making them close.
