I've just done that easy adjustment and was more than surprised how easy it is and how effective.

I rode my 1100 cc for many moons now and was already used to the sound thinking both pots had the same idle speed. God, was i wrong.

Of course does that NOT fix your carbs, but if there's nothing else wrong, you can set your carbs pretty well.

Please see and special thanks to Mike Miller who found that out.

The video in the original post shows how to isolate one carb/one cylinder to locate and diagnose carb problems.
IT will work with most 2-cylinder engines. It also shows how to adjust the pilot mixture as the first part of tuning.
IF you get no change in idle speed while turning the pilot mixture screw, you likely have a clogged pilot and are partially on main circuit.
IF you can’t get the engine to run on one carb, raise the idle speed a bit.
