Going to Korea in January

Can anyone tell me what the process is and what i have to do.  I am Canadian and gf is Thai.  Only going to 5 days to see QUEEN.

You don't need to do anything, other than satisfy the officer at the border that you're both genuine travellers, neither of you need a visa for the length of your trip.

 

Thai and Canadian citizens can both enter visa free for up to 90 days, your girlfriend might be asked for sight of a return ticket as well as evidence of funds and accomodation as well as the purpose of the visit, she should just be ready with the answers.

 

We've been a few times, and my girlfriend/wife has been stamped in without question.

When I read your post I thought, “Queen concert in Korea. That’s a good excuse for a visit as we’ve never been before and have often talked about going.”

 

I checked ticket prices - seem cheap. Then I had a look at the average daily temperature in Seoul in January: minus 2.4 °C. Yikes! Too cold for me!

 

It makes things so easy with no visas to apply for. Enjoy the concert!
