Assuming it's a 220V tester and you have the correct adaptor (if needed) then it should work just fine.

 

If you need to use an adaptor make sure it correctly positions L and N so you get the correct indication on the tester.

Thanks, I bought with Thai style plug. I use a adaptor in The Netherlands and works fine. In The Netherlands I have to use the adaptor sometimes up side down because L and N are not fixed, and is according regulations.
