Indeed it doesn't makes a difference today, but it will in the future, since that pound doesn't only decline against that Baht but about every currency in the world so future imports will get more expensive in pounds.

Don't you think the importers and retailers gonna increase their prices towards the consumer?

Stop explaining economics to brexiteers.

The clown will make an announcement in the next minutes.

Probably a general election.

The show goes on.

So no General Election, Boris sticks to his guns. Another Remainer prediction gone wrong.

No clown either, what have you got next - Jezza's performing poodles?

Did Laura Kuenssberg guess wrong on his announcement? Now she's making predictions based on an "...if rebel MPs...". She's useless at being a journo, always trying to promote her own biased opinions and hopes as 'reporting'. No wonder Remainers like to quote her.

You can bring on your poodles now.

I'm shocked - shocked and horrified - that the FTSE 100 opened up this morning (ie. an hour ago). Don't these people understand that the end of civilisation as we know it is upon us?

GBPUSD having difficulty holding 1.20. Brexiteerland continues to drive Sterling into the ground.

Down , down , down deeper and down we go where it stops nobody knows....

June 23rd 'Independence Day' 52.07 - but don't worry peeps once we're out it will soar like an eagle. Hopefully when our sovereign parliament takes back control and we don't fall in Johnson's election trap - then we should have a reasonable rise  - we are waiting to take that to transfer probably another 10k of our toilet paper into teflon baht. Keep up the good work the Rebel Alliance  and Lord Bercow - we can do it and STOP THE COUP !

The gift that keeps on taking......at least for then now it is food for for thought inside their simplistic meme-filled minds. Probably even 30 won't get through the madness they have elevated to belief. Sad really. We who have options salute those that are about to die !

GBPUSD now below 1.20. Well done Boris and the Brexiteer claque.

The Forex crowd have dollar-parity as a goal as long as this madness continues then they will have a good chance to get to there and then profit take. The UK is now one massive casino where all the ordinary folks are the losers and the vultures are all at the table making and hoping to make great fortunes. With a huge mass of Brexit numbskulls it's almost a safe play at the moment. It was no surprise as soon as Cummings got into no 10 he said I'm off to meet the hedge funds and open their pockets for the war chest.

The UK National Brexit Lottery - you've got to be in it to WIN it. (like the classic three card monty street scam the working class losers are the marks in this scenario).

So true if their leader Farage/Johnson - the Laurel and Hardy dumnumvurate (just made that word up I think)  tells them to drink the poisoned Kool-Aid and they will go to heaven - they drink it as if it were the nectar of the gods.

Just now from the Torygraph - a 35 year low - poor Thai leavers are going to be crucified my thoughts are with the remainers who have been caught up in this sheetstorm of the leavers making.

  • Pound sinks below $1.20, reaching its lowest level since 1985 if ‘flash crash’ is excluded
  • Traders are holding their breath ahead of a clash over no-deal in Westminster today
  • New orders in construction sector hit a decade low during August
  • M&S, Micro Focus and Direct Line are all headed for relegation from the FTSE 100

Seems all irish to me   Know any (other) good irish jokes?  lol

Actually it does just on anecdotals from the pound shop - disposable plastic cups have got thinner and less in a pack , the pegs they are selling snap easily when before they didn't , Lidl shower gel has got much thinner - to name but 3 there are stealth ways to make up for the ravaged pound. Go round IKEA most things seem to have gone up a lot no longer cheap as chips as it used to be. Anyway people here aren't most people they have some affinity with Thailand and need Thai baht at some point -and we are getting royally stuffed.
