Viral video: A happy, smiling family - even in the traffic

A video has been viewed by millions of Thais that shows a happy family smiling together despite being stuck in traffic. 

 

It features a father and mother and their son and daughter eating rambutan.

 

They are stuck in traffic on their motorbike and sidecar but they are together and happy and that is what matters. 

 

Poster Apinan Chaichana said on Facebook of the 45 second clip:

 

"You don't need to be rich. Just being together is what matters. That's happiness". 

 

The 27 year old said that the video was recorded on the Surat Thani to Phun Phin road on August 30th.

That reminds me of something which I think I read in Culture Shock Thailand.

A farang and his Thai girlfriend are stuck in the traffic and he moans and complains.

And she asks him: Why do you do that? Will we move faster when you moan and complain?

3  wheelers in the UK dont need  one, trikes, sidecar and  passenger only on the bike  needs  helmet sidecar  doesnt  need

Actually the happiest people are neither rich nor poor. Poor people are unhappy because they have a difficult life and rich people are unhappy because someone else is richer than them.
