New Finnish husband took child to see real Finnish dad for birthday party

The case of the missing nine year old Thai/Finnish girl took some surprising turns yesterday.

 

It has been revealed that the child was taken away from school on Monday by her stepfather after he connived with the child's biological father to take her to see him. 

 

The Thai wife at the center of the story had reported the nine year old missing to Kranuan police on Monday. She had the child with a Finnish man and after a nine year relationship divorced and started a relationship with another Finnish man from a nearby town in Finland. 

 

They had a boy together who is now about three. They were back in Thailand building a house for her parents in her hometown.

 

The new husband went to the girl's school during lunch and took her away. He also tried to take the boy but was barred by relatives at home. 

 

The girl was taken to a hotel in Khon Kaen where her real father was staying on a visit to Thailand. She was given presents such as books and stationery because it had been her birthday on Sunday.

 

He told her that he had wanted to see her desperately but didn't dare to go to the house. 

 

He later took her back in a rented car to within 100 meters of the house. Mother and daughter were soon reunited along with a lot of tears. 

 

Meanwhile the Finnish father of the boy and the girl's stepfather has disappeared over the border to a neighboring country. 

 

Charges of abduction have been dropped and the district chief and police are proposing to get everyone together to sort out the family's difficulties, reported Sanook.

Good on him. Dont know the details but every kid has a right to see their parents and rarely is a new hubby to make that happen. Seems righteous almost...

One has to wonder why the 'biological' father could not visit the house to see his child.

With the step father being so sympathetic to the biological father one wonders what the mother is like.

Yeah, after having 2 cash cows already and life with the second one does not seem so good. One would assume she hunts for the 3rd.

Indeed..  I've a fair guess at the type of woman this is, but it would be jumping to somewhat of a misogynistic conclusion. 

 

Both the Finns do seem to have come across as having behaved in an understandable and fair manner.

Makes you wonder about the woman involved if the current husband also does a runner.  Finnish and Finnish finish with same woman.

What an ill-informed thing to say. You obviously know nothing about Thailand.

Any yet people try and twist their warped minds trying to decry the child's father. So many on here with their deprived minds were shocking yesterday and now this today and their silence is defending. I hope husband numder 2 has the sence to get his sun away from this woman and her family and back to Finland. Bet he is regretting this holiday. Good luck buddy and stay clear of the crazies spend the money you were going to spend on the house in getting your son out. 

I freely admit I've lost the plot, don't know which husband did what for who.

It's either dreadful reporting or my old age.

You are finished as a headline writer. Yes, they certainly sound like an odd triple, two more if you include the kids. I imagine the relos are having a bit of a hard time getting their heads round it all. While plod is more than happy to dismiss charges!

Yes you had to have your hat on to read this convoluted story.  I'm a bit confused also.  so is the son the second fins failed finish?  This woman sounds like a doozy and her family sounds like they're in on it.  what was the second fin doing building a house for them?
