Just wanted to say thanks to Ubonjoe for all his advice and I wanted to share my recent experience at CW. After reading about other people's difficulties and about the long lines & wait times at CW, I was really worried about switching to a marriage extension. I switched using the 400k in the bank and everything went absolutely great. I don't think it could have gone any better. A month ago, I went for my extension. I emailed my docs to the same agency I used last year. They printed everything and took me & my wife to CW in the company van. Went we got to CW, we went downstairs to KBank for the bank letter and to get bank book updated (that took ~ 15 min). We then went upstairs straight to IO's office, didn't need a ticket and didn't have to wait in any lines. The IO asked a couple of questions, took our pic and we were done in less than 10 minutes. No one from IM came out for a home visit. Yesterday, I dropped my passport & bank book off at the agency's office and today, they went back to CW to get the final stamp and multiple reentry permit. They called earlier to say everything was done and they would be sending my passport & bank book back in the morning with a courier. So, it looks like I'm done until next year and I am so relieved... I wish everyone good luck as well...

Nice to hear, that you had a good service.

What would be nice to be answered for me:

- When you arrived at CW for your first visit?

- And how much cost this Service?

It seems you only needed the service for be faster instead of waiting like 3-4 more hours!

Thanks for sharing your experience

It was simple question. How much did you pay in total to agent? No need to ask for a PM unless your the agent. The question did not ask for agent detail. Just the $. Difficult question to answer?

It could be difficult to answer if it is illegal, ie has a deal with immigration.

I received my passport & bank book back today from agency and I'm all done until next year. For those with inquiring minds, I used my own money in the bank to qualify. And, for those others, I don't give out financial details and don't engage directly with strangers on open forums anymore. For some, it may not be worth it, but for me, the extra money was well worth paying for the VIP treatment. It was only a minuscule amount relative to my income. I am fortunate to be able to treat myself without worrying about how much I spend each month after working 40 years for the same company. I'm done posting... Wish you all well.

"Johnny BD Cannot Receive Messages" ...

Bringing this topic back - because I am also looking for an Agent to handle a marriage-based extension in Bangkok.  My income is multiples of the required.  I have a job and WP through the labor-office, because BOI would not process with a stay based on a Non-O-ME Visa (BOI interfaces with immigration, so immigration's corruption is involved).

Everything is 100% legit (live together for years, etc), but NOT putting my wife through their rude interrogation-routine, etc - again.  Been there and done that before, and will NOT be repeating this harm to her again, due to my-then naieve belief they actually wanted to do things "by the book."   I know what Imm are all about now, and want an agent who will give them what they really want - the envelope - why they make your wife suffer, and have a different set of criteria / rigamorole, if you don't play the game the "agent way."

I sent out emails to several agents, but no replies.  Anyone have a success story of a no-hassle, legit, marriage-based extension-via-agent recommendation?

This will be a Non-O Visa-entry based on marriage (90-days) to 1-Year Non-O Extension based on marriage.
