Always read the small print

Featured Replies

Just back from a shopping trip and the wife has given me a good laugh after showing me the contents of a 'bargain' toothpaste offer box.

Initially angry but then saw the small print on the bottom right of the box. Sneaky............

Any other examples of sneaky advertising?

Like the Ham & Cheese sandwiches at 7......

1/2 of the sandwich is the ham 1/2.....

The other 1/2 of the sandwich has the cheese.....

Almost as bad as the bags of potatoe chips/snacks etc, 80% inflated empty packet! open and a tiny amount hiding in the bottom !

What about the half filled tubs of yoghurt?

A long time ago I saw on Judge Judy a case where someone put a photograph of a very nice car on the internet with a price of $10,000. Someone paid the price and soon afterwards received the photograph...not the car.
