A Persian cat was finally reunited with its owner after going missing at Suvarnabhumi airport for four days. 
 
A Thai tourist was taking her pet on a plane in a carrying case at Gate E8 late on Tuesday when the cat got loose.
 
The cat's owner cancelled her travel plans as the authorities tried to locate the missing moggie.

It was spotted on CCTV on Wednesday but gave the authorities the slip. 
 
Finally on Friday cat food bait proved too tempting for the hungry cat and it was cornered in the same area where it had originally gone missing. 
 
A video showed that the gate was closed and the cat was cornered. It was wrapped in a blanket so it wouldn't be harmed and finally returned to its appreciative owner.

I presume she was going on a domestic flight as apposed to international?

Not likeky. No domestic flight I know of and no Thai airline allows pets in the cabin. A number of (non-Thai) international carriers do, though.

 

Thai Airways usd to and I used to fly them pretty often Bkk-Phnom Penh for that reason. However they stopped and I haven't flown them since.

 

Wonder how the cat got loose at the departure gate.I can see it happening at the X ray security check, I used to worry about that as had to remove the cat to let them xray the case. But once past that it shouldn't be possible unless she failed to resecure the cade.
