My 8 year old is very interested in programming and has been making scratch and other simple programs on his own. He has asked me to get him a tutor :).

If anyone is potentially interested let me know. I have been helping him myself but I think he would benefit from a real tutor.

I know most people here who have programming skills are doing other stuff but just LMK what would be worth your while ???? and we can consider it.

#1 is ability to relate to and teach an 8 year old.

What programming languages is he using?

Programming languages - I am open to having him learn anything. He learned scratch at summer camp and I have been teaching him stuff in autoit. We can have him learn anything, though, that would be useful for him to make stuff in. Maybe Java.
