Video: "Safe place to dance" clip goes viral

Millions of Thais viewed a clip of a man dancing at a temple fair surrounded by police.

The clearly drunk man shows his best moves as the officers pay him no attention whatsoever.

Poster Theerawat Kaewseedam said the area in front of the stage was jammed and he clearly needed some extra room - or was it just that he needed to feel safe?!

He was dancing to one of Thailand's most immortal rock hits - Carabao's "Bualoy", that is instantly recognisable to many of a certain age in the kingdom, and many younger people too, notes Thaivisa.

The clip was filmed at a temple in Ang Thong in central Thailand during an annual Khanom Jeen festival.

Like at a Carabao concert!

They missed out the end of the clip where the boys in brown gave him a urine test.

I remember when it took two to dance. Now, even if there is a dance partner, you stand six feet apart and jump around like spastic gibbons. Gone is not just the romance, but also the chance to chat up the girls without throwing around some big bucks for rounds of drinks. Or do you somehow use Snapchat or Twitter or Twater, whatever they are. for that these days?
