Strangest item confiscated by Thai airport or postal Customs

Swampy Airport confiscated my lightbulb...

Thai Postal Customs demanded an import licence for some wire and plastic, because it was described as a radio receiving antenna, and then refused to ship it back to sender because they said I needed an export licence!

What have you had confiscated, and what was the reason?

It would seem that, for many men, what’s been confiscated is the will to resist the obvious machinations of inappropriately young femme fatales.

I imported some metal, plastic and rubber from Stuttgart/Germany ... had to pay 9 Million Baht tax.

Customs said it is a Porsche.

Hi I brought from the UK a dumbell bike spanner a little thing, they keeped it saying that it could be part of something bigger and could then become a dangerous object, blo...dy jokers lol

On my last trip in, they seized a dreidel, two Kanye West official toenail clippers, a Merkin and a set of anal beads, new in package. Didn't find the used ones.

Were they in a "Dark Place"?  If so didn't your funny walk not give you away?

I hope that is just tongue and cheek.

The postal/customs worker wanted it more than you.

He has taken the items home.

Do you even know what third world means or is research above your pay grade?

I believe the correct phrase now is developing

However If 'Third World' is a mentality, then Thailand is firmly rooted in the Third World.
