More and more of the World's People are in revolt against the liberal left-wing progressive Governments that have delivered failed policies again and again.  What is happenning in Germany occurred at the recent elections in Sweden and several other European countries over the last year.  Liberal left-wing progressive policies are damaging the People socially and economically everywhere they rule, and the People are moving in the 'right' direction at elections.

This link below is a recent story from Sweden. And as the CEO says - these new immigrants do not assimilate and not accept the laws and values of the People in the countries they have moved into.

They did not come for the right reasons - unlike the vast majority of migration after WW2 - they came for the wrong reasons and have no intention to change or assimilate or accept.  That fact is being seen more aned more, and the People are realising that the only solution is not to wait for things to get better, because they are just not getting better (and will not). The People are seeing that only solution is to vote out of power the liberal left-wing progressives and tear down all their implemented policies and rules and laws.  Immigration is the 'front runner' issue, but there are many other issues whereby the policies of the liveral left-wing progressives have not delivered economic or social benefits to the People - so they are more and more moving to the 'right'.

...ooooor...people need a scapegoat for the "misery". they live in (like having healthcare, freedom of expression, social security....) and the right wing is feeding on that!

Immigrants come for the "wrong reasons"?

So who is to say, what is "right" or "wrong"?

What nonsense. Anyone with any real knowledge of these movements in Europe knows that while their views on immigration may jibe with yours, on other social issues like subsidies for working class people, health care, and subsidized education, their views are much more in sync with progressives.

By the way, did you notice that the most popular party was not the AFD, but Die Linke, which translates to The Left?

And as I suggested to some other reactionary, just follow the link at post #6 to see just how ludicrously wrong you are on the question of immigrants in Germany.

You should also not the the AFD has pretty much stalled in most of Germany.

Because of the scandal it might create?

Which scandal it could create? At the last election the far right idiots got 12,6%. Top much for sure but they are far away to become the majority.

Quote from the OP:  "After gaining seats in the national parliament for the first time in 2017"

2 years later and they are the second most popular Party and the ruling Party is now in 3rd place.

This is a movement to the right and denying it is false logic and delusional.

Will it continue to such an extent that the right starts ruling in those left wing countries - I certainly hope so. They were close in Sweden at last election - but through using alliances the left stayed in power - just.

That's utter B.S.

EU Migration Has Been Good For The German Economy

And yesterday came another positive, but different, economic metric from a major EU country, as the German Institute for Economic Research (Deutsches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, or DIW) released research finding EU immigration had boosted Germany’s GDP growth by an average of 0.2% every year between 2011 and 2016. GDP is a measurement of a country’s productivity, or how much stuff it makes. Again, this does not mean the average German has found 0.2% more euros in their pocket than they had the previous year, but it is a strong rebuke to those that say EU migration is a dragging force on developed EU economies.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/freylindsay/2018/11/01/vorsprung-durch-einwanderung-eu-migration-has-been-good-for-the-german-economy/#3f56f33c5c99

oh yes eussr good for germany, soo..good that germany financed its own export to southern european states, reflected by the huge positive german target 2 balance of nearly 1 billion euros. the 1 billion euros will never be  paid back to germany lost to the bankcrupty states like greece, italy etc.

afd far right what a left wing nonsense, the party pushes the cdu values of the 90's. in those days germany had very capable politicians like strauss, dregger, schmidt, weizaecker, merz compared to the morons nowadays maas, habeck, roth, trittin, kramp-karrenbauer.

The poster generalized about all the anti-immigrant parties in Europe, not just Germany's. And he, like you in the past, refuse to acknowledge the rise of the Green party and The Left party in Germany. Particularly in the former West Germany where the people are more prosperous, better educated, and the percentage of immigrants is higher.

But given the self serving absolutionist history in regards to the Holocaust taught by the former government of East Germany to its citizens , it's no wonder that statements like the following are appealing to eastern Germans:

"Hoecke has drawn criticism from Jewish leaders and mainstream politicians for calling Berlin's Holocaust memorial a "monument of shame" and demanding that schools highlight German suffering in World War Two."

You link to a page of polls the oldest of which is a little more than a month old. What does that prove?

Yes there a few Jews who are member of the AFD. What does that prove?  That Hoecke isn't an anti-semite? That AFD members don't march alongside neo-nazis?

I don't remember ANY CDU- politician in the 90's (and I was there to witness it!) to talk about a Holocaust Memorial as a "Memorial of shame", asking anyone to voice the grief of the German WW2- soldier or call Hitler's 3rd Reich a "minor incovenience", like Hoecke or Gauland did!

But you are right: to call them "far right" is nonsense!

They are fascist!

So you can say whatever you like about Jews, but as long as you're not judged to be one by a court, then the presumption is you're not an anti-semite? Is that the standard you regularly use?

Right, they're still clinging to the SED. Oh, wait a minute...

2007 walkout in Saxon Parliament

On 3 October 2007, during a commemoration ceremony[57] in the Saxon Parliament in memory of the German reunification and the fall of the German Democratic Republic, all members of The Left walked out in protest. The Left was upset that Joachim Gauck, the former Federal Commissioner for the Stasi Records and later President of Germany, was invited to deliver a speech.[58]

I am German and none of the values they are "protecting" needs any protection in my eyes!

I think, German values are being enlightened, open to ideas, welcoming of foreigners...and the best beer-, car- and sausage makers in the world!

...among others...

Nothing about that in the party- program of the Faschos!

Or rather: nothing of value AT ALL in the AfD- program!

GERMAN DELEGATION TO ISRAEL SHUNNED DUE TO PARTICIPATION OF FAR-RIGHT MP

A German group of politicians from Hesse in central Germany who is visiting Israel has been diplomatically shunned after it was found that a Far-Right MP was among the delegation, the Algemeiner reported.
The politician, Dimitri Schulz, is an MP for the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which is known for extremist right-wing views, minimizing the Holocaust and is also viewed by the German Jewish community as a home for the “hatred of Jews ” and “reletavising, or denial of the Holocaust,” the Central Council of Jews said in a statement in October.
However, the political party does have some pro-Israel sentiments, which stem from its vehement anti-Muslim and anti-Immigrant views.
