A BB replica of a 9mm can never be converted to a 9mm. There's simply not the same tech to fire of a bullet and the "powder" in a BB gun is compressed air and are fitted where the clip of a real gun should be. 

I've had both sorts, a BB replica of Colt 1911 and a Norinco 9mm (Chinese copy of a 1911)

No you can,t convert a "auto bb " to fire 9'mm they use co2 capsules as a propellant

IF it can be done for sure it could be done here in Thailand.  Having said that, for the past 5 years I have wondered why there was a "BB gun" (pistols) vendor at Big C in Sisaket.  It makes a lot more sense now knowing that they can be modified.
