Thai caption: Driving on the rails

An appeal for information has been posted on a Bangkok data site on Facebook after a person was caught on CCTV driving on train tracks in Bangkok.

The car was a Mitsubishi Pajero but information was needed about the registration plate.

The vehicle was going along the rails on its way to Yomarat after midnight on Saturday/Sunday.

Sanook reported that the authorities want to have a word with the driver.

Well..........Pajero in Spanish means one who masturbates often, or wa***r / To***r. So maybe the driver is just living up to the name.......????

It seems they are already taking the test for the future Pattaya tram. ????

Make a change from the road ragers who are off the rails.

This does not boast well for high speed trains

Or trams in Pattaya.... best shelve that plan before it even starts!

But, when I buy, they say it can 'Off Road'

Mitsubishi must be happy their Pajeros will sell like hot cakes.

Give it a couple of days and the driver will turn up at a police station

with his mummy holding his hand, say solly and pay a 500 Baht fine, then

off to the temple to make merit.

I never saw a sign saying Pajeros can't drive on train tracks

In any other country you would think <deleted>. In Thailand you would think nothing unusual.
