Featured Replies

Think the general stopped it.

Haven't seen it for the past 2 years, and I live opposite.

Why would political influence shut down an agricultural fair?

I'm not baiting you on this, I would really like to know if you have any credible information.

I've read recent reports that Maejo University is starting to cultivate cannabis for medical purposes.

Are people in high places upset about that?

It was most certainly was on last year, I was there.

That said, seen nothing about it this year sadly, it's a great fair.

I hope it is on.

They certainly stopped the weekly market in the road outside.

Used to have big banners all the way out the main roads advertising the fair, they haven't been up for several years.

My kids friend goes to Uni there (stays over a few nights each week) she certainly thinks it isn't happening.

Don't think the cannabis cultivation is happening on-site.

Ask on a Farang Forum about a Thai university schedule ? 555

Phone call told me that no fair this year - it is in Chumpon

Budget not included to put on fair this year in CNX

Used to love the Mae Jo uni fair. Only reason I'd see them ever not doing it is through lack of funds/sponsorship. Just give em a bell, op: 053 873 000

That explains it then.  Lack of money in the kitty.

Wait until they learn how to grow some good herb.

Their financial problems will be a thing of the past.

sad to hear was hoping to see what new strains of cannabis were up for offer.

It was there last year (the large one they have every 2-3 years and not the mini one where they mostly sell food). I went 3 days last year. We bought a lot of plants.

You mean the evening market? They still have it. We were there about 2 weeks ago.
