You betcha. The Thai authorities would have done a two year feasibility study to determine the benefit of the light rail system, NOT.  ????

Yes but there are no 'commisions' available on any of the above !

People don't care about infrastructure, they want an abundance of female companions and cheap beer. It's as simple of that.

True, and that served Thailand well, for many years, until people started to discover there was also an abundance of female companions, but beer is 75% cheaper, in a neighboring country.

They have actually. There was a recent thread about it and many were questioning the cost of the study which was 70 million Baht.

It wouldn't matter if they did and found it not viable, it still would have gone ahead to line the pockets of all the corrupt backers of the project.
