What’s your club’s team of the decade?

Here’s mine.

 

Based on 442 selecting the LB position is the biggest difficulty as no LB has been on par with the other players. But here goes:

 

Hart

Zaba Kompany Laporte Clichy

Yaya Fernandinho Merlin

Sterling Aguero Tevez

 

Hart gets it for me as he was brilliant for atleast 3 years or more for us; not great with his feet but great shot stopper (vs Dortmund will always stick in my mind)

Clichy over Kolorov as he could defend better and there's enough forward thinking players in this team.

Zaba, Kompany, LaPorte, Yaya, Merlin, Aguero and Tevez were easy picks.

Sterling now would get in but only on the right (rubbish on the left)

Yaya and Tevez were game winners, particularly Tevez, who would pick us up when we need drive and energy.

KdB deserves a shout but he’s only had one outstanding season compared to the other 3 in midfield and is up and down for the past season and this.

Barry could easily slip in; hugely influential in the Mancini era and greatly appreciated by City fans.

Still not happy with that LB selection though.
