webfact Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Twins killed in southern Thailand Thai caption: Mystery murder of twins Sanook reported on the death of 31 year old twins found in two separate locations 600 meters apart in the province of Phatthalung. Elder sibling Manop was found in a weir on Novermber 28th along with his motorcycle. Younger sibling Manon was found a week later on December 5th stuffed in a mineshaft. Police noted that the twins were known as petty criminals. A teacher called Hamad Yusup has admitted to killing them and said he acted alone. Police believe the twins were electrocuted by cables with exposed wires that ran through a lime orchard owned by the teacher and managed by his elder brother Niyom, 60. It is believed that four or five others were involved in concealing the corpses. Sanook reported that the bodies had been carried to the areas where they were concealed in a three wheel vehicle with sidecar. Police do not believe that the teacher acted alone. In the past animals had been electrocuted by the wires that became dangerous in wet conditions.
