Gong with I Never Glid Before live off of their '73 Angel's Egg LP.

Every couple of months or so I need a bit of Gong to 'relax' to.

The shrink ordered another. Don't mind if I do sir.

Far out stuff.

Fool's Overture from 1977 just came to my mind.

For anybody who does not know it don't judge it by the beginning. It gets better and better and better ????

The Cryan' Shames with Hey Joe (Where You Gonna Go) off of their '66 Sugar And Spice LP.

555 they rip off the riff from Needles and Pins and then storm into Hey Joe! I like it!

One of the best song lyrics coupled with their delivery is Hot Rod Linclon off of Commander Cody And His Lost Planet Airmen's '71 Lost in the Ozone LP.  The 60's coincided with the muscle car era.  Drive into the local White Castle's hamburger joint and the parking lot would be full of 'em.  My first car was a '68 Pontiac Firebird 350.  What a ride!  No problem getting airborne on rolling hills.

Chuck Berry singing about his air-mobile on You Can't Catch Me, charted in '57.

Johnny Cash telling the humourous tale of One Piece At A Time off of his '76 album of same name.

The Beach Boys with the title track, Little Deuce Coupe, off of their '63 album.

Jan and Dean with Dead Man's Curve off of their '63 Drag City LP.

Ronny And The Daytonas with G.T.O. off of their '64 album of same name.

Foghat's rendition of Chuck Berry's Maybelline off of their '72 self-titled debut.

Supertramp tunes have not been available on YT.  At least not in the recent past.  But times change so . . . post while I can.  Breakfast In America, the title track off of their '79 LP.

The title track off of Genesis' '74 The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway LP.

The song is great and the video makes it unforgettable - maybe some else posted that already.

Just listen to that lead guitar dancing its way through the infectious riff.

From 1961.

Mississippi Fred McDowell with a sweet riff on Goin Down To The River.  From the vid and given his birth year (1906) it appears to be from mid'50's.

And another number, You Gotta Move, date unknown.

McDowell famously quipped that, "I Do Not Play No Rock 'n' Roll."  He was however flattered by the Stones' version off of their '71 Sticky Fingers LP.

Mississippi Fred McDowell and Jo Ann Kelly live with When I Lay My Burden Down performed at the Mayfair Hotel, London in '69.  Released on his '95 LP, Live At The Mayfair Hotel.

British female blues guitarist, Jo Ann Kelly, covering Robert Johnson's '36 classic Come On In My Kitchen off of her '69 eponymous LP.

Delaney and Bonnie with Duane Allman performing Come On In My Kitchen live on their '71 A&R Studios LP.
