We very rarely ever hear the outcome of any of these cases, but I would like to know how the Thai court will deal with this one. finding your wife in bed with another fella is going to send most people at least a little loopy after all. We could argue all day about the differing levels of insanity present in some locals, but temporary would be at least plausible in this situation.

Without a  weapon ....maybe

Seems to me that Niphit is hiding something too. He said they were married, registered and he had been with his wife for a year.

In reality he only shared a room with her 2-3 days every week. Wonder where Niphit were sleeping the other 4-5 days every week?

I  only share  a  room with mine maybe 3-4 nights a  month.

so you are saying most folks are cheats and liars  ....

better rephrased as "are  you saying" as  nothing worse  than putting words into someone elses  mouth

I wonder how many here supporting the violence, have banged another blokes wife?

Just not got caught

I did when I was 20 but  we  all  agreed and it was  fun except  you really need a 6ft  bed for 3  people. Both of them divorced now with 3  kids and broke, sad she was a nice girl and he was a  good  mate............lifes  strange sometimes.......I dont support the violence though easier to walk away and never  look  back

I am honestly not sure what sicken me the most, reading the article or through the comments.

While cheating can very very rarely be justified, the same counts for murder or murder attempt.

But what should i expect from the morals keepers other than being  hypocrites.

Maybe he had a job where he worked away from home?

Too bad he didn't kill them both. Cheating and breaking a trust is the worst thing one person can do to another in my opinion.

A wise man would walk away and find a new woman. Much better than revenge and then jail.

And knowing Thai men, he was planning to do likewise too

Surely, an immoral behavior unique to Thai men.

Why are the police involved, this is a civil matter!

You got it wrong!  it is a criminal matter attempted murder a weapon was used.  Civil is when he finds them in bed walk out and then file for divorce in a court of law?  But of course since they live in a road of shop houses poor reason she brought the other man back to their room both not being able to afford a short time room at one of the many " love Inn" throughout Thailand.  ????  Both are lucky he couldn't afford a gun and only had a pocket knife.

Maybe working? Some Thai men do you know - and maybe had to travel to do it!

Sounds like something bad happened to you in your past and you never did make it to the therapy appointment. It's never too late to get well.

I no doubt that he might have been working in a different city or province. I do doubt that he was faithful, though. Sleeping 4-5 days per week without his wife, makes him almost like a monk. Not even they stay away from the short time hotels.

Yep, that makes you quite unique. If you are faithful, even more so. Congratulations!
