Authorize Letter for International License

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm going to get my international license at Morchit again.  I'd like to get my wife's international license for her also, saving us having to both make the trip.

dlt.go.th says "IF YOU DON’T COME BY YOURSELF : AUTHORISE LETTER WITH FEE STAMP 10 BATHS".

So then, what is the AUTHORISE LETTER?  Can I get a sample or template somewhere?

and where can one get the fee stamp (which I think is a notarization)?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

T.

No one?

I did a few attempts to find exact info to no avail.

It is quite clear, that the DLT has a form for this power of attorney.

It's likely to be downloaded from their website.

Give this to your wife to search through (2 pages with forms):

https://www.dlt.go.th/th/e-form/

To me it sounds that you then have to visit the district (ket) office to get the notarization (go together with passport and ID).

Let your wife check the attached pdf.

It appears as power of attorney under driving license.
