Hi all, 

 

My first post here. I'm coming to Pattaya on Sunday 26/1. I was going to use Nams Taxi Service but I am not happy at her communication with me as she takes days to answer any questions it makes me concerned about her service. She was quoting 1200B inc tolls from airport to Pattaya. 

 

So can anyone recommend a good reliable taxi service to me please.    

Which airport, guessing swampy, that’s about right price.

Ive always used cab from arrivals, no need to book really, it’s a common destination, but others may have a preferred company to recommend .But would not suggest minivan option.

strongly advise against that option.

unless you're insurance is top notch and you like 'near death' experiences.

I unashamedly recommend this lady - a friend of mine for some years.....

As of April 2019, she charged 1100 "Swampy" to Patts or vice versa.

May be more now - I don't know but she is very reliable

however this is his Thailand telephone number 0983517134. if you wish to call him out of Thailand then add 0066 to the beginning of the above number

 

Usually when I come from the UK I call him and give him my flight details and his driver then meets me at the "meeting point" in the airport with an 18 inch square board with my name on in large black capital letters .

 

If there are 3 or more  and lots of luggage in your family he also has a big "fortuna" 

 

Last time I used the big vehicle the cost was 1200 Baht inclusive of road Tolls

Her service has been well  reviewed elsewhere.

Perhaps she has had a break over NY?

She takes days to answer. She asked for details of flights etc which I gave her and I asked her for details of where to meet/payment details. Then heard nothing for 4 days so I sent her a WA message saying I was concerned about her service and she replied on WA she has been busy with her children and for me to get another taxi and blocked me. Very poor customer service.

Somebody once told me you can get a taxi from BKK (not the airport) to Pattaya for 500 baht ... ^__^

Years ago the other way was possible...as they were Bangkok taxis just wanting to earn something heading home. Right mafia set up.....
