Popular Post Yinn
The stereotype of the grumpy old man could have its roots in a condition known as irritable male syndrome. It’s clinically referred to as andropause, or male menopause. Depression and lower self-confidence can also be symptoms. It can lead to difficulty concentrating, trouble sleeping, and reduced energy. Men suffering male menopause who had a positive outlook when young now get angry easily and complain endlessly. Thailand is the Land of Smiles with friendly people. Do you think living in Thailand helps men with male menopause have the better life? 3 2 3

What makes Thailand great are all those lovely girls who are feminine and make guys of any age feel good. But it seems there are also some of those annoying feminists out there. They ruin the life of most men and most of us stay away from them. 2

DannyCarlton
No such thing as the "male menopause". An urban myth.
Popular Post ChipButty
Male menopause is a lot more fun than female menopause With female menopause you gain weight and get hot flashes. Male menopause - you get to flirt with young girls and drive motorcycles.

SAD is real and living in Thailand helps greatly as the lenght of the days are almost the same. In my home town, the shortest day has 7 hours of daylight (December 21st), the longest day has 17 hours of daylight (June 21st). cornishcarlos
Not sure what the general age is for onset of "male menopause" but at 47yrs old, I don't think I'm there just yet. However, dealing with any government employees in Thailand can certainly induce menopausal like symptoms... Land of Smiles ?? Not so sure about that anymore @Yinn

neeray
Thailand with all its femininity helps stave off "grumpy old man disease", puts a little kick back in the step. I think "grumpy old man disease" may be a more accurate description than "male menopause", of which I doubt there is clinically (technically) any such thing. We just don't have the "parts". sirocco
Of course, of course, ChipButty, POST 7 women start to gain weight around the time of menopause, that is around the age of 50. On the other hand, from the age of 30, men gain weight, which they have had the leisure to maintain (weight), without scruples, thinking that their busty, very gelatinous body was the fantasy of women. To observe, daily, the man in all his splendor, andropause, in a large majority of males, begins very early. 555555555555555555555555555555555555555555

ianezy0
I think the majority of Westerners who are of an, say, older age, delight in the fact that they can have something to complain about each and every day. Now when they make the decision to live in the LOS they get really excited to have something new to complain about. TV is like a magnet to this type of person ????
Popular Post holy cow cm
I am generally the most happiest here. No place I would rather be. Always have been. It is not the age, but trips back to the USA get me down as can't wait to get out of there, and the real only thing here that gets me (and the Mrs.) seriously grumpy is immigration and it impossible to become a resident.
