The man suspected of killing three people in the Lop Buri gold heist case faces nine criminal charges, Prayut Petchkhun, deputy spokesman for the attorney-general and Special Attorney for Criminal Case 3, said on Thursday (Feb 20).

Prayut said investigation of the case had been completed.

Prasittichai Khaokaew, the director of a school in Singburi province, allegedly shot dead three people, including a child, while robbing a gold shop in Lop Buri province.

Among the nine charges Prasittichai faces are: stealing using weapons and vehicles causing others to die or get seriously harmed; possessing firearms and bullets without permission; using unregistered firearms.

The prosecutor has strongly opposed bail for the suspect and calls for a speedy trial since the case was of great interest to society.

Seems odd that that dont mention charging the guy with murder, man slaughter, assault with a deadly weapon etc etc. Stealing a vehicle and possession of bullets, surprised they havnt put illegal parking and bad driving on the list.

Typical report - say 9 charges but only list 3 (guess too costly to add a few more words).

He applied for it ?

This piece of dog <deleted> should be executed and quickly.  But he’ll probably get a life sentence and released in 2 years to kill again.  That’s how the <deleted> up legal system works here and In most other countries.

but he has 'theft' as his alibi ????
