Most European countries already have a system which is similar to what Bernie wants to implement. So there are ways to solve these problems.

Exactly, you see Americans especially those over 45 have really been fully 'wiped' in terms of demanding more basic human rights. IMO. Folks in France protest all the time.

It's nuts really when you think about it. Why does the US not have free healthcare. Not to mention society that addresses income inequality. People will argue, 'how will you pay for it'? LOL They don't ask that question when in comes to THE MILITARY.

What we have here is a politician that has been striving for the people for over 20 years. Not voting for Bernie, IMO, is not only lacking empathy for your fellow American but actually against your own socioeconomic interest. Oh, did I mention, naive...????

To add, not trying to be racist, discriminatory, antisemitism or whatever. But yes, many people are in the US regarding this.

Sanders is Jewish.

A Jewish person has never been elected President in the US.

It is a fact just sayin.

Perhaps, its because government and powerful leaders of the party are controlling things with the emphasis on radical leaders in power and democratic process  interpretation

"Democratic socialism, a growing U.S. political movement in recent years, lands somewhere in between social democracy and communism. Like communists, democratic socialists believe workers should control the bulk of the means of production, and not be subjected to the will of the free market and the capitalist classes. But they believe their vision of socialism must be achieved through democratic processes, rather than revolution.

https://www.history.com/news/socialism-communism-differences

Practically, democratic socialism usually turns into social democracy, I.e. UK, France, Nordic countries, etc...

In these countries, there was nothing like "the emphasis on radical leaders in power and democratic process  interpretation".

When it happens, it means that it's not democratic any more, i.e. in Venezuela and it can happen on both sides, whether socialism or capitalism.

Lets hope Bernie will be the main candidate supported by all Dem.

he the only one can keep up with ego rotten Trump, his false promises (get out of middle east and much more) got a good part of voters tired of him, what Trump got now is only the racist suprematist, pro Zionist, and the bigot Church people.

Bernie has a goot change to win the election if Dem fully support him, indeed we know several Dem top brass are on right wing Zionist payroll and therefore will do anything to boycott Bernie.
Condir that Bernie is a Jew, but a good one, who really want peace with Palestine and in all middle east.

If Americans, really want out of all these madness wars, end the huge continue mad shootings in their schools and be a positive leading country in the globe, Bernie is the man to be voted !

Racist mumblings

As always, the claim that other people can't read, and that communists are only theoretical. I know a communist when I see one. Its anyone from an organization that calls each other Comrade. Communists ALWAYS hide who they are.

You're really funny. ????

The simple answer is 'No'

Even if a Joe Biden is the candidate, the Trump campaign will label him as a Socialist, a word that is an anathema to many Americans.

So, a self declared 'Socialist' makes that job 100% easier.

So tell me how in the real world does this self declared 'Socialist' win over moderate Republicans and swing voters?

And let's get real, there are probably only about 15 States in play, the rest are are foregone conclusion.

The Democrats seem to have the ability to snatch defeat in the face of success. And this is one of those times.

Oh and as one last point. The young 'Bernie Bros' and getting out the youth vote in general which is often touted as Bernie's path to success.

Wanna know the peak of the youth vote in the past 50 years?

Those Studs, Michael Dukakis and George HW Bush. So Good Luck with that strategy

He was talking about the Tennessee Valley Authority which is owned by the federal government and You still can’t differentiate between socialist, communist and Marxist

The terms are all interchangable as far as I am concerned and I could care less what you think. I oppose all who in little beret wearing groups call each other comrade. Just like that!

Regarding your last sentence, I was thinking the same thing.  Bernie as the Dem nominee will not only be a gift to Trump, but it will probably take down the entire Democratic Party.  Just when the Republican Party itself was basically dying (replaced by the Trump Party).

What's crazy is that all this doom and gloom is the result of just 3 primaries in 3 tiny states.  And the media wants to anoint Bernie already.

I believe Biden will win big in South Carolina.  Joe B. will restore a bit of sanity in the Democratic Party.

So both you and walkingorders believe he is communist. Please defing why you choose that term over his self proclaimed Democratis socialist?

Because he has a lifetime of apologizing for totalitarian regimes, while at the same time claiming he opposes them? You remember the cold war right? AND he currently calls for nationalizing the entire US energy sector. No communist can be President. And communists like to hide out in other parties. Obviously CPUSA has no path to power  nor DSA.

Joe Biden is a crook in the early stage of dimentia, and everyone knows it. Fit only to be locked up at home with an ankle bracelet, instead of a cell, I would give him that much mercy.

Biden will probably win in S.C. but winning big there? I really don't think so and then it's on to Super Tuesday where Bernie will probably do very well. Bernie's chances of having the most delegates on the first convention ballot really do look very good. It's not because the country wants him. The country doesn't want him! It's the nature of the primary system with a natural leftward bias because primary people are more activist than average and also too freaking many OTHER candidates that aren't Bernie! Now if, a big IF, there is a very quick winnowing soon, then I don't see this math changing before Super Tuesday and if Bernie does as well as expected then, it's almost game over except to come a close second and then he can realistically be dumped in a conflicted convention. I hope I'm wrong but I think we're stuck with the Bernie problem whether he's nominated or not. Because if he's not nominated even if he only has a slim lead going into the convention, the Bernie fans are pretty much the only democrats that are not at all reliable to go for any democrat that is nominated. They're already talking B.S. conspiracy theories.
