Ive been with my girlfriend 1.5 years.  She works as massage ( not sex massage ) but a more upmarket place. She was also chef working in major hotel of which she has papers etc.   She has 500.000 baht in savings from her jobs.  She has very mentally ill son 19 year old of who she must return.   Ive been sendi g her some money from time to time last year and half.  We have photo and whatsapp messenger printouts.

One possible problem here on my part.  I am not working at present due to injury. I recieve state welfare of approximately £250 or €320 per week.   I own my own home. I have funds in bank of approx €12000 .

Can anyone advise best way to go about this...if i guarantee her or better for her to sponsor herself ?

She has been outside thailand living in sweden 3 years ago to a guy but relationship ended . On that occasion she returned home within time.

She will come to uk 3 months only .

@nomad2019  You need to be aware that the majority of visitors from Thailand don't require anybody to pay for their trip, so if that's what she plans to dom that's fine, she's not sponsoring a trip, just demonstrationg that she has sufficient funds to pay for the proposed trip and that, on the balance of probabilities, she will return home at the conclusion of her holiday.

 

If you are intending to pay for her trip, you don't just guarantee it, you need to demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to do, and by doing so it's not going to leave you broke, you should also satisfy the decision maker that it's reasonable for you to do so.

 

If she's a qualified masseur she should submit details of her qualifications and confirmation from her employers that her leave of absence has been authorised and that she is expected back on whatever date. You say her trip is "for three months onl" that's a heck of a long time for a visit and an absence of only three months.

 

You say she was previously  a chef, she might want to explain why she left that job.

 

You've been together for 18 months, how often do you see her and how did you meet, as the previous poster pointed out you might want to explain why you send her cash whilst she has a good job.

 

Call logs are always helpful, especially if both sides initiate them, but photos are specifially excluded.

 

She might want to explain who will be taking care of her son during her holiday.

I've removed further posts speculating on the OP's position, he's seeking specific advice not doubts on his or his girlfriends status.

She sounds quite capable of applying for a visitor Visa, if you are capable of providing the Accomodation offer, that would be useful.

Since the Visa is multi-entry (still I hope) would two six week visits, with perhaps 3  or 4 weeks back in Thailand, in between sound more plausable? (I know of someone that done it that way, though a long time ago).

You can't really influence, as sponsor "the need to return".
