Dermatologist in Ubon

Featured Replies

Was going to look for one myself a few months ago Patriot, but the need evaporated - but likely to come back some time. Was thinking of trying out this clinic close to Sapphasit Public hospital based on good internet ratings by Thais and having had good experiences (capability, approach-ability and price) of a couple of clinics for other afflictions (chest/lungs and orthopaedic) close to the 'big hospital' - where such doctors generally work most of the day at Sapphasit and a few hours in their own private clinic.

Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/TeerayutRattanaClinic/

Google Maps Pins and reviews - Google 'Ubon Dermatologist' and it comes up obviously

Would have been one to take along my wife with me for first visit.

Would appreciate your thoughts after you have selected and visited one.

Alternatively I would have enquired at Sappasitiprasong International (private) Hospital. They tend to use specialists from the big hospital and they would be more likely to select English language-competent ones. Pricier than plan A though, obviously

Some years ago I went to a dermatologist In the old part of Ubon city. His clinic opens in the evening and during the day on weekends. The clinic is on the corner of Phrommathep Road (the one way road running parallel to the river) and Luang road. Problem is that there are very long queues as he has an excellent reputation. My treatment was for a skin rash. Friends in Ubon who suffer from skin cancer or itchy skin spots don't seem to have any luck in finding a dermatologist in Ubon. They end up going to Bangkok for lazer treatment.

Hi Santi,

Thanks for that. It was/is for a mild eczema on my neck for which Elomet cream seems ineffectual.

Ill pursue your suggestion and revert.

Apart from that I hope all's well with your good self and family.

Thanks Michael.

I'll check out the location first and perhaps give it a try.

As previously mentioned it was for mild eczema, not serious, but, as Santisuk will agree, it blemishes my otherwise flawless features.

My wife suggested trying the "pink people" found in all malls and plazas. I had to explain to them that any treatment these people give is only to perpetuate the irritation!!

Thanks again

I haven’t forgotten you Santi, I’ve been in Phuket for the last two months. I’ll try after the 14 days are up.

Yes capitan - I noticed you got nabbed for self-quarantine. Better option than state quarantine had you been looking after the boat in Dubai. I guess a couple of months work made it all worthwhile, but you probably didn't expect Phuket to turn out to be pariah province No1!

An acquaintance near Kantharalak came back from work in Vietnam in the early days of Covid and the village doctor heard of it and paid a visit. Put him in self-quarantine for 14 days but balanced that off by sending round a couple of young pretty nurses to do check-ups. No such luck for you I guess!

I’ll dispatch Mrs Patriot to Charoen Sri for essential supplies if I get good notice!!!!
