This is a colorized version of the THE LAST MAN ON EARTH. Good watch when in the mood, I Am Legend was sort of a remake of this classic.

This film, original b&w scared the living daylights out of me, when I was about 7 years old I think. I had nightmares!

Well you might as well make the best of your failure to achieve greatness. Not everyone is cut out for it.

by your definition only.

We each have our own, it is called individuality... and besides, my life is better than yours even by your standards...

Are we allowed a second go? Some gentler films.

Life of Pi

Forest Gump (first time I saw this was flying BA business class on an overnight flight and woke up everyone when i started laughing when he says 'I got shot in my bum, do you want a look?.)

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (again saw this on a flight)

Being There ( a weird film and I think Peter Seller's last one but very funny)

Young Frankenstein ( I have never understood how they kept straight faces filming this)

re: Forest Gump, read the two books as the film is based on the first book.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly.   Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.  French Connection 2.  One flew over the Cuckoos Nest. The Changeling ( Angelina Jolie, Clint Eastwood directed).  If allowed one box set, "24 Season 2".

Agree about GOT - what idiots decided to end it like that - ridiculous ending

Surely they could do a rewrite for something better.

I typically don’t watch movies multiple times, but for right now, here’s a few relevant ones in addition to some of my personal favorites

Pi

I am Legend

Seven Years in Tibet

Saving Private Ryan

Forrest Gump

I am mainly just watching YouTube and playing games

I don't normally rewatch movies, but if I do it's movies from Ghibli studios. Most have no violence and a happy ending with a feel good afterglow.

For rewatch's it's series, like Father Ted, Game of Thrones, China Beach.

They should, but probably won't. I didn't even bother recording the last series. Another series that went off the rails was Walking Dead that went all PC and pathetic in  ( I think ) series 9. Wasted my life watching that rubbish hoping for something to happen.

I forgot to include Twin Peaks, one of the most influential tv series ever made. Despite disliking a few of the characters ( love fast forward facility on a DVD player ) I find it a very enjoyable series, despite watching it several times. Unfortunately, it was only great till Lynch was forced to reveal the murderer. I understand the intention was to never do so. After that it all downhill to series oblivion.

That just reminded me of the movie Oblivion- it was a good watch, but the best part was the song at the end. Love it on setting 11 ( so long as no one else around, of course ).

You talking about the 2013 Tom Cruise one ?

Sorry didn't think much of it

But if you want to talk about credit ending songs have a listen to Kurt Russell in

"3000 Miles from Graceland" singing such a night, almost better than the original. Watch out for his little smile at the end of a job well done.
