I noticed in a posting a while back that at one time someone did runs between Pattaya and Surin in a private car and I was curious if anyone still does this? I contacted the OP regarding this but figured I found ask about any recent, up to date info. I am possibly going to go to Pattaya from Surin at the end of the month on the 30th maybe and I was curious if anyone knows if it's possible without having to go all the way back to Bangkok. I hate the idea of going all the way back to BKK by bus and then going by an additional bus back to Pattaya. Any information someone might have for getting to Pattaya from Surin would be GREATLY appreciated.

Well, you can get a bus from Surin to Patts direct, or you can make enquiries at the aforementioned FC for a private car..... no need to go anywhere near Bangkok in either instance.
