CBS Busted For Publishing Bogus, Emotional Nurse Video!

Featured Replies

PuYep, you gotta watch where you get your news from. CBS posted a tearful video of some supposed nurse who made a tearful video about nurses not being protected, she had to quit, sob sob sob. They just slapped on the sad music track and ran with it. Turns out the lady is a wack job who is admittedly mentally ill and hadn't worked at the hospital for a year until the very day of her sobbing video.

A snippet from one of the many stories debunking CBS:

"However, this now appears to be utterly pretend information. The girl goes by Imaris on social media, and has a major following on Instagram. One Twitter consumer identified that solely days earlier than posting her video, she wrote on-line that she hadn’t been working in a hospital for over a yr, and likewise had nervousness and bipolar melancholy. She additionally famous that data concerning the coronavirus “triggered” her."

CBS has issued a "correction". Rest assured it falls well short of admitting they completely blew it and published FAKE NEWS. Now... where are those 74 *journalism professors* who are so concerned about coronavirus misinformation?

The golden rule of journalism, never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Uh oh Oh, no   ????

The Union Journal is an imposter website, meaning it looks like an official newspaper website covering New York City. We are not rating this website for bias because they simply publish anything they can.

No problem. Pick another source.

Let me know how badly the Union Journal did. I have a feeling you won't.

Unfortunately, the video is a Facebook link and won't play. However, it shows this nurse in another performance on COVID, playing "street girl". It also points out that, in an earlier FB post, she stated that she had quit her job a year ago.
